SPOUT! is a national coalition of flood survivor groups advocating for help. Group leaders meet regularly to discuss current issues and plan ways to combat bad planning and promote investment in programs that reduce flooding, help communities prosper, and reduce climate change.
All floods are unique, but many of the ways to reduce their impact or prevent their repetition are similar. That’s why talking, sharing ideas and collaboration is so important.
So far, 19 Flood Resilience Group leaders from 9 states have begun monthly meetings through video conferencing. If you are interested in joining our monthly meetings please contact us.
